Restrictions and Guidelines

THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS WILL BE REMOVED AT 12:00 AM ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2022 AS PER THE GOVERNEMENT OF SASKATCHEWAN

The current restrictions and guidelines at Communiskate are as follows

  • Masks are mandatory at all times including skaters under the age of 18 until such time as they put on a helmet to leave the dressing room, however it must be worn immediately after their helmet is removed. 
  • Skaters that are 18 and Older are REQUIRED to wear masks at all times including on ice activities unless they have a vaccine mandate within their league which will be monitored by that league.
  • For practices, players, team staff and 1 support person per player (for players requiring assistance in the dressing room) are permitted to enter the rink 30 minutes prior to the scheduled ice time and must exit the rink within 30 minutes after the ice time.
  • For games, players, team staff and 1 support person per player (for players requiring assistance in the dressing room) are permitted to enter the rink 60 minutes prior to the scheduled ice time and must exit the rink within 30 minutes after the ice time.
  • For games and practices, spectators are permitted to enter the rink 30 minutes prior to the scheduled ice time and are asked to exit the rink as promptly as possible after the ice time. 
  • Home teams are responsible for ensuring that visiting teams are aware of the restrictions.

When entering public indoor spaces, we remind all patrons to please respect everyone’s personal space. 

Communiskate will continue to have increased cleaning schedules and the hand sanitizing station. Please continue to frequently wash your hands and/or use available hand sanitizer when at the rink.  Thanks to everyone for their continued cooperation stay safe and have fun!
