Communiskate Guidelines as of June 20, 2021

As of Sunday June 20th, the following guidelines MUST be adhered to.  There will be zero tolerance of verbal abuse to the staff thank you to everyone for your continued cooperation.

  • MASKS are required to be worn by EVERYONE who enters the facility. Athletes are required to continue to wear a mask ON ICE.
  • Competition including tournaments are permitted for all ages, Interprovincial play is NOT permitted.
  • Spectator Capacity Outside Arena is 100 spectators maintaining distance of 2 metres from non-household members.
  • Spectator Capacity Inside Arena is 50 persons maintaining distance of 2 metres from non-household members.
  • All user groups are asked to arrive at the facility NO EARLIER than 30 MINUTES before their scheduled time. If they arrive early, they will be required to wait
    outside while observing physical distancing until 30 minutes prior to their scheduled time.
  • All teams are required to EXIT the dressing rooms within 30 minutes after their scheduled rental time has ended.
  • All spectators are expected to limit their time spent in the facility and leave promptly following their event.
  • Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should go straight home and contact Healthline 811 for further guidance. 
  • Congratulatory gestures such as high fives and handshakes are NOT permitted.
  • Spectators must maintain distancing of at least two meters from other members of the public. Spectators (excluding parents and guardians where
    necessary for player support) should be kept out of participant spaces (dressing rooms)
  • For the safety of our fellow athletes as well as Communiskate cleaning staff during this health pandemic, please refrain from spitting in the players benches,
    penalty boxes, dressing rooms and floors.
  • Guests are strongly encouraged to bring full water bottles to programs and to not share. Water bottle filling stations are open and will be frequently sanitized.
